When you visit these pages, the usual access data is processed that any web server needs to deliver a page (IP address, time, requested address, browser identifier). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in delivering the pages securely (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We use no third-party advertising services.
Hosting and recipients
The website runs on the aYOUne platform of tolinax UG. We operate the servers at Google Cloud (Google Ireland Ltd.) in Frankfurt am Main and the database at MongoDB Atlas (MongoDB Ltd.). Both process data only on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). Beyond that, we only pass on your data where the law requires us to.
Live demo on this website
Some pages show a running schaupunkt screen as a preview. For this, your browser loads the playlist and QR graphics from further addresses of the aYOUne platform (ad-display-api.ayoune.app, bc.ayoune.app). The same access data is processed as when visiting this website, also by tolinax UG and on the same legal basis. No cookies are set and no profiles are created.
Visitor analytics with consent
Only if you agree in the cookie dialog does the page load the visitor tracking of the aYOUne platform operated by tolinax UG. It records which pages are visited and where the visit came from. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG. You can withdraw it at any time via the cookie settings.
Forms
The details you enter into a form on this website are used solely to answer your enquiry or location registration. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. We keep them while the enquiry is being handled and afterwards for as long as statutory retention periods require.
Customer portal and support tickets
If you sign in to the customer portal or open a ticket, we process your name, email address, password (stored only in encrypted form) and the content of your tickets. We use this data to run your account and handle your requests. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. The data stays stored until you have your account deleted, subject to statutory retention periods.
Sensor next to the screen
As an option, a sensor next to the screen counts how many people and vehicles pass by. Detection runs on the sensor itself. It recognises no one, stores no images and sends only numbers per hour to the platform; no personal data is created.
The only exception is the alignment aid, which is switched off by default. It is switched on deliberately only during installation or maintenance, for a limited window of at most 30 minutes. During that time the sensor sends one to two still images per second so that we can align it on pavement and road. Areas that are not to be captured, such as the windows of flats, are blacked out. Only the 20 most recent images are kept, and they are deleted when the window ends. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in accurate counting (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We agree a notice at the window with the location during installation.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Where we process data on the basis of our legitimate interest, you can object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). Please contact info@tolinax.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; for us this is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA) in Ansbach.
