A calmer wait inside, an up-to-date window outside
A bright screen in the waiting area or window shows queue numbers, opening hours and pollen levels, with your services such as flu jabs or blood-pressure checks in between. Clear, easy to read and managed from your phone.
In healthcare, trust matters, on screen too
In the morning, people with prescriptions queue at the pharmacy, and at the practice they sit in the waiting room watching the clock. The question is nearly always the same: when is it my turn? If nobody answers it, people ask at the counter, interrupting your team just when they need to concentrate.
At the same time there is a lot that patients and customers should know: the walk-in vaccination hours, the free blood-pressure check, the physiotherapy team's new back-care course, changed opening hours over the holidays. Usually all this ends up on notes taped to the door that nobody reads after two weeks, and the pharmacy window has shown the same display since spring.
schaupunkt brings order to one bright screen. In the waiting area it shows the number being called and how many people are ahead, without a single name. Anyone waiting can see things moving, and the wait feels shorter. In between run your opening hours, pollen levels, official weather warnings and your services, worded factually in line with German healthcare advertising law. In the window, the street sees what you offer today. Everything is managed in the app, without anyone leaving the counter.
What it looks like at your place
The pharmacy window
Mid-morning in the town centre: the pharmacy window shows pollen levels and the flu-jab notice. A passer-by stops and makes a note of Tuesday.
Calm in the waiting area
In the practice waiting area the screen shows the number being called and the estimated wait. Nobody has to ask at reception.
A service switched on from the phone
In the late afternoon the pharmacist adds the blood-pressure check from her phone. In the window the screen shines brightly into the dusk, showing that you are open until 6:30.

A day in a health centre with a pharmacy
- 7:30 am: Physiotherapy opens, the practice right after. The window shows the hours of all three services and today's pollen levels. People on their way to work see the pharmacy opens at eight.
- 8:15 am: Vaccination hours at the practice. In the waiting area the queue number runs with the estimated wait, with local news in between. Reception gets on with the phones instead of fielding questions.
- 11:00 am: The German Weather Service issues a heat warning for the district. It appears on its own, in the waiting room and in the window.
- 3:00 pm: Afternoon consultations. The pharmacist adds the free blood-pressure check from her phone, with an ad from the medical supply store around the corner, which you approved, in between.
- 6:30 pm: The pharmacy closes, the window keeps shining brightly. Anyone passing sees tomorrow's hours and the back-care course with a QR code to sign up.
Advertising that suits your practice
People waiting with you care about everyday health. That makes your screen attractive to businesses that fit well: the medical supply store, the optician, the hearing-aid specialist, the home-care service, the local rehab sports club or the farm shop around the corner. You approve every ad yourself, exclude competitors and decide whether advertising runs and which ads. Any health-related ad follows German healthcare advertising law: factual information, no health claims, mandatory details where required. We take care of that together with you.
Every location has a fixed ad price, and you share in the revenue. Your share depends on the location, the screen and who provides the player; we lay the terms open and agree them with you in person. More under Earn with your window and Book advertising.
Traceable down to each display
Every display is logged with time and screen, your own notice as well as a partner's ad. More than 80,000 displays have been recorded this way since 12 September 2026. You see when your vaccination notice ran, and partners see when their ad ran.
At the shop window, a small sensor inside on the screen can count passers-by and vehicles anonymously, by hour and direction, for an extra €15 a month. It recognises no one and stores no images; only numbers reach the platform. Counts and logs become media data for your location. More under Sensors.
Frequently asked questions
No. Calls use numbers. Patient names do not belong on a screen others can see.
German healthcare advertising law: factual notices, no health claims, mandatory details where required. We word your own services with you accordingly, and you approve third-party ads beforehand.
The waiting page shows the number being called, how many are waiting and the estimated time. We agree how it is fed at your premises in our first conversation, based on how you work.
The programme for your existing screen starts at €12 a month, complete with player at €47 a month, footfall counting an extra €15 a month. All prices exclude VAT. We can supply the screen too.
All content is made to work silently. Waiting area and dispensary stay quiet, and conversations at the counter stay discreet.
Official warnings come from the German Weather Service for your district. Every page names its source and when it was updated, pollen levels included.
Prices shown follow the German price-display rules, as with any price tag. The offer page shows price and supporting line clearly, including notes such as covered by health insurance.
Bright and moving screens facing a road are governed by traffic regulations and often a local by-law. We review the location with you and set the schedule to suit it.
The sensor recognises no one and stores no images; only hourly numbers reach the platform. No personal data is created. We agree a notice for the window with you during installation.
A screen, power and internet; Wi-Fi is enough. Updates arrive over the network, and if anything hangs, the player restarts itself. Your practice software stays untouched.
