See what is happening in the air and on the ground at your airfield
A bright screen in the airfield restaurant, clubhouse or on the visitor terrace shows field weather and the runway in use, take-offs and landings, NOTAM, the weather briefing and prices for AVGAS and Jet A-1. Your sightseeing flights and courses run in between, managed from your phone.
At an airfield everyone looks up, and everyone has questions
An airfield draws people who never fly themselves. Families sit on the terrace at the weekend, cyclists stop for a break at the restaurant, guests wait for their sightseeing flight. They all look up and ask: which runway is in use today? Is someone about to land? How long until my flight? At the tower and at the counter, staff answer those questions again and again.
The airfield community wants to be informed quickly too. Anyone walking past the clubhouse checks the wind and clouds, the NOTAM for the field and whether the fuel station is still open and what a litre of AVGAS costs today. Those details often sit on a board or a note on the door and are out of date by the afternoon.
schaupunkt puts the whole field on one screen. It shows the field status with wind, visibility and runway in use, take-offs and landings around the field, the NOTAM overview, the weather reports in full and AVGAS and Jet A-1 prices with opening times. Every page names its source and time. All pages are an overview for visitors, guests and flyers at the field; flight preparation continues through the official channels as usual. Your sightseeing flight, the trial lesson with an instructor and the gift voucher run in between. You choose what runs when from the app.
What it looks like at your place
In the airfield restaurant overlooking the apron
Guests sit by the window while a light aircraft taxis to the holding point. On the screen they see the runway in use and the next approach, and the children know where to look.
In the clubhouse before a day of flying
In the morning the first club members arrive at the clubhouse. The screen shows wind and clouds at the field and the fuel prices, and the instructor adds today's training plan from his phone.
Evening on the visitor terrace
The sun is low over the runway as a last aircraft lands. On the terrace the screen glows brightly with the sightseeing-flight voucher and its QR code, which a family saves straight to their phone.
Live demo
This is how this sector’s screen is running right now. Pages change on their own.

Sightseeing and trial flights
Up to three cards with QR codes: sightseeing flight over the mountains, a trial flight at the controls with an instructor, a gift voucher. With a properly stated price and booking straight from the phone.
Field status
The field's current weather report in plain language: wind, visibility, clouds, temperature and pressure, plus the runway in use, set directly by the tower if you like, and the operating hours. The answer to every visitor's first question.
Traffic at the field
Take-offs and landings around the field from publicly received position data, with direction and altitude. The page appears whenever something is moving and sends every eye on the terrace to the right runway.
NOTAM overview
Current NOTAM for your field as a clear board, with the time they were fetched. When there are none, the page says so too, an answer many flyers like to see at a glance.
Weather briefing
The weather report and forecast for the field in full, for everyone who reads the codes. Together with the field status it gives a complete picture for the chat in the clubhouse.
Aviation fuel
AVGAS and Jet A-1 with current price, date and the fuel station's opening hours. Visiting crews see over coffee when they can refuel.
A day on the airfield restaurant screen
- 8:00 am: The tower opens. The screen shows the field status with wind and runway in use, and in the clubhouse the theory students stand in front of it.
- 10:30 am: The restaurant opens and the first guests sit by the window. Between weather and NOTAM, the sightseeing flight over the mountains runs with its QR code.
- 12:45 pm: Two aircraft fly in for lunch. The traffic page shows their approach, and the crews check AVGAS and Jet A-1 prices over coffee.
- 3:00 pm: The terrace is full. Children play on the big screen by phone, and between rounds it shows the next landing and the trial flight.
- 7:00 pm: Flying is over for the day but the restaurant is still open. The screen stays bright with tomorrow's weather, the gift voucher and ads from the region.
People at an airfield are an audience advertisers want
An airfield brings together people with time, enthusiasm and a taste for special experiences. That is exactly who flight schools and charter operators, aviation sports retailers, local restaurants and accommodation, attractions and regional businesses want to reach. On your screen they advertise between field weather and traffic, right where everyone is already looking.
You approve every ad yourself and can exclude competitors. You decide whether ads run and which ones. When ads from local businesses run, you share in the revenue, and depending on the site the screen pays for itself in part or in full. Read about the model under Earn with your window. Businesses that want to be seen at the field will find the way under Book advertising.
Every display on record, every visitor counted anonymously
Every display is logged with time and screen, more than 80,000 since 12 September 2026. Advertisers see exactly when their ad ran in the restaurant or on the terrace, and your billing is transparent for everyone.
If you like, a small sensor inside next to the screen counts how many people and vehicles pass by, per hour and direction, for an extra €15 a month. It recognises nobody and stores no images; only numbers reach the platform. You see how an open day compares with an ordinary Tuesday, and advertisers get media data for your airfield. More under Sensors.
Frequently asked questions
They give visitors, guests and flyers at the field an overview of weather, traffic, NOTAM and fuel. Flight preparation continues through the official channels as usual. Every page carries that note.
From the published weather reports and forecasts for your field or the nearest station, and from the public NOTAM service. Every page names its source and time, and outdated reports clear the page by themselves.
From publicly received position data of aircraft around the field. The page runs while aircraft take off or land and pauses when the sky is quiet, which keeps it interesting.
Yes. The runway in use can be entered directly in the app and then appears on the field status, even while the wind is shifting.
We take AVGAS and Jet A-1 prices from your fuel station's price page, or you enter them in the app. With price, date and opening hours, in line with the price indication rules for prices on display.
The screen shows aircraft movements, weather and offers. Names of owners, passengers or students do not belong on a screen others can see, and are never shown.
Wherever guests linger anyway: in the airfield restaurant, the clubhouse, the tower lobby or under the roof on the visitor terrace. A screen never hangs over rescue, safety or escape route signs.
The screen programme for your existing screen starts at €12 a month, complete with player from €47 a month. Anonymous footfall counting is an extra €15 a month. All prices exclude VAT.
A screen, power and internet; Wi-Fi is enough. The player updates over the network and restarts itself if anything hangs. We can deliver the screen as well if you like.
Yes. Five games start from a QR code in the phone's browser, with no app and no sign-up, including a flying game against a mountain backdrop. Your pages return between rounds.
