Turn waiting time at reception into your next job
A bright screen at the till, at reception or in the customer lounge shows local fuel prices, the weather, the number being called and your service offers. It keeps itself up to date, and you steer it from your phone.
Between the pump, the till and the lift
At a filling station, customers spend a minute or two at the till and look around. At a garage they sit in the lounge for quite a while during a tyre change, and at a dealership they wait for the car handover. In every one of these moments people are attentive and have time on their hands. Usually their eyes land on a poster from last spring or a TV tuned to some random channel.
Yet few trades have so much to say that changes all the time. Fuel prices move several times a day. Autumn is about winter tyres and the winter check, spring about air-conditioning service. The car wash, the parts counter and service reception each keep their own hours, and when the roadworthiness test is held on site, everyone should know. Nobody keeps that current by hand, least of all in the week when every customer wants their tyres changed at once.
schaupunkt takes over exactly that part. The screen fetches the weather, official warnings, local fuel prices and regional news on its own. Your service offers run in the same rotation, and so does the number being called at reception. At your own filling station you pick the pages that suit you, for example weather, shop offers and car wash hours. At a garage or dealership, waiting time becomes the moment that books the next appointment.
What it looks like at your place
A glance at the till
While customers pay, the screen behind the counter shows the weather and the morning's ice warning. Next comes the shop offer, and plenty of people grab a coffee on the way out.
In the garage customer lounge
A customer waits for his tyre change. The screen shows which number is being served, with the winter check in between. He scans the QR code and books that appointment too.
The dealership after closing
At dusk the showroom is closed, but the window keeps working. The bright screen shows the test-drive day and the weather outlook, and passers-by take the offer home with them.

Play while you wait
A QR code invites people to five games played with their own phone. Kids and adults pass the time, and your offers return between rounds.
A day at the till and at reception
- 6:30 am: The first commuters fill up. The screen shows the temperature and the ice warning for the district, then coffee and pastries from the shop.
- 7:30 am: Service reception opens. Numbers are called and everyone waiting can see when it is their turn.
- 10:00 am: The winter check with a QR code runs in the lounge. Two customers book it while their cars are up on the lift.
- 3:30 pm: After school, parents wait for a handover with their kids. The children play on the screen with a phone, the parents read the air-conditioning offer.
- 7:00 pm: The dealership is closed, but the bright window shows Saturday's test-drive day. You set it up in the app over lunch.
Your screen helps pay for itself
The people at your till or in your lounge are exactly the audience many neighbouring businesses want: the driving school, the insurance broker, the bakery on the corner, the windscreen service, the caretaker company. They book airtime on your screen, rotating with weather, fuel prices and your own offers. You approve every ad yourself and exclude competitors, so a garage never shows the deal from the garage across the street.
You share in the revenue. Your share depends on the location, the screen and who provides the device. We lay out the terms openly and discuss them with you in person before the first advertiser goes live. Depending on the location, the screen pays for itself in full or in part. Find out more under Earn with your window, and anyone who wants to advertise goes to Book advertising.
Proven, not estimated
Every display is logged with time and screen. You can see when your tyre offer ran, and advertisers can see when and where their ad ran. Since 12 September 2026 more than 80,000 displays have been recorded this way.
Right on the roadside, the optional footfall counting for an extra €15 a month pays off. A small sensor inside, on the screen frame, counts people, bicycles, cars, buses and lorries, each with direction and time. It recognises nobody and stores no images, and only hourly figures reach the platform. That gives you media data for your location and a location analysis that convinces neighbouring advertisers. Details are on the Sensors page.
Frequently asked questions

You choose the pages freely. At your own station, weather, warnings, shop offers and car wash and workshop hours work well. Local fuel prices really shine at garages and dealerships.
Yes. Prices on a screen follow the German price indication rules just like any price tag. Your offers show the price exactly as you would label it in the shop.
Yes, as long as it neither dazzles nor distracts drivers. Road traffic law and often a local by-law set the rules. We check the location with you and set brightness and content to match.

In most cases, yes. We check it from a photo. The player runs screens of any size, including large window formats.
The screen programme for your existing screen costs from €12 a month, or from €47 a month complete with device. Footfall counting adds €15 a month. All prices net. When neighbourhood ads run, you share in the revenue.
No. Every page works without sound, so things stay calm at the till and in the lounge.
The player restarts on its own, and updates arrive over the network. As a rule nobody needs to visit. All you need is power and internet, and Wi-Fi is enough.
A QR code sits on the screen. The phone camera opens the game in the browser, with no app and no sign-up. The game plays out on the big screen, which reacts about 530 milliseconds after a tap.
